When you book me to carry out your video editing, I will provide you with unlimited, secure online video storage. This will make it easy to transfer the ‘rushes’ for me to work on. Alternatively, if you are locally based, I can collect the footage and transfer it onto one of my SSD.
Yes. I regularly rescue footage filmed by improving colour, exposure, white balance and audio. While no edit can completely fix badly recorded footage, I can dramatically improve its quality.
Absolutely. Most of my editing only projects use footage is supplied to me. I can work with footage from virtually any device, making it look the best it can be.
I love long form documentary style projects with lots of interviews and real-life footage. They’re like solving a puzzle. My favourite part is immersing myself in the material, uncovering those genuine “golden” soundbites and weaving them together with the visuals to create a compelling story.
My preferred software is Resolve Studio and Avid. At the moment, due to continuous (going on for a decade) stability issues, I rarely offer editing with Adobe Premiere.
