Do you need an experienced Norwich, Norfolk-based, Freelance Cameraman or Videographer to help with your filming projects?
I’m here to help support you and your productions.
Norwich-based freelance cameraman with 30+ years’ experience, and 1000s of productions filmed for clients including many small businesses, agencies, the UK and Welsh Governments, BBC, NHS and Sky Sports.
I offer land and aerial drone filming across Norfolk, Suffolk, East Anglia, the South East and London — happy to be directed, or to take the creative lead myself, for both Post and Live broadcast work.
Trusted by businesses, local authorities & national organisations across the UK

Filming Style
My style of shooting is natural, real human feel.
This is made possible by using a shoulder mounted support or with a saddle. This is without camera stabilization, and I only use an electronic gimbal when the story needs it.
The small natural motion artefacts when shooting shoulder mounted adds personality to the footage while communicating “this was filmed by a human being in the moment.”
A gimbal, while impressive, can sometimes make things feel too polished, too “clinical,” losing a sense of journey or being “there.”
My filming style adds beautiful character to the footage.

What my clients say
We recently worked with Shaun to produce a series of service explainer videos for our website, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish.
Shaun was professional, reliable and super responsive throughout. The final videos look professional, polished, and completely aligned with our brand.

Shaun’s high standards shone through in all aspects of his work. I worked with Shaun as part of my role with the Cabinet Office, capturing case studies for the COP26 conference.
Working with Shaun was an absolute pleasure. Would highly recommend for any businesses looking to use video to promote their cause or product.

COP26 / UK Government
Shaun has been flexible and creative, offering ideas, advice, and expertise on planning and execution to deliver work well beyond our expectations.
One particularly impressive quality is Shaun’s ability to work in lockstep with a diverse group of people, putting individuals at ease. Over time, he has become a valued and integral part of our project team.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Yes, and my drone service is included within my filming service. I have been a drone pilot for many years, starting out with the CAA legacy certification PfCo.
Today my drone operations are still fully compliant with the CAA, and offer the use of both Cinematic and FPV style drones.
Once filming is complete, you can choose the delivery method that best suits your workflow:
Need the footage urgently? On-site transfer is best
If you have a suitable SSD or laptop, I can transfer the footage before I leave (subject to time and data size). This allows you to edit the footage immediately.
Cloud upload
I’ll upload the footage for you to download. This is ideal if you have a very fast and reliable internet connection.
Posted SSD
I can copy the footage onto a SSD and send it by tracked post at cost. If you return the SSD within 7 days, I’ll refund the cost of the drive, so you’ll only pay the postage.
Absolutely – It’s included! I provide reliable single-camera live streaming alongside my filming services. It’s a simple, affordable solution that’s ideal for conferences, presentations, business events and more.
I can stream your event live to your website, YouTube, or social media platforms, helping you reach audiences wherever they are.
While my expertise is in creating exceptional video content, I can capture a small selection of still images during filming for social media, websites or behind-the-scenes use. Thanks to filming in stunning 6K, I can also produce high-quality frame grabs during post-production, giving you even more marketing assets from a single shoot.
If professional photography is an important part of your project, I always recommend bringing in a dedicated photographer.
Switching between filming and photography takes time away from both disciplines. By concentrating solely on your video, I can focus entirely on capturing the strongest footage, while a dedicated photographer creates equally compelling stills I’m always happy to recommend trusted local photographers.
Absolutely. I regularly work independently on productions. I’m happy to work from your shot list and brief, or take the creative lead when needed, making decisions on location.
For pre-production, I’m happy to join remote planning meetings to discuss the brief, objectives and filming schedule. If you’d like to oversee interviews from afar, I can also offer a solution so the producer can remotely login while I’m shooting interviews.
Yes, I love crafting video footage via my video editing service that result in clear messaging with a natural flow.
With over 30 years of experience, I’ve filmed a diverse range of commercial, corporate, documentary, public sector and event productions.
If you’re filming in Norfolk, I can also help source locations through my Production Fixer service.
