Months of Content in 1 Day
Suffolk Cottage Collection wanted more than a single promotional video — they wanted a library of engaging content that could work all year round, showcasing both one of their holiday cottages and the experience of visiting Aldeburgh one location which they have holiday homes on the Suffolk coast.
The Brief
Suffolk Cottage Collection needed content that did two jobs at once: sell the destination, and sell their properties.
Rather than a single polished film, the goal was a flexible library of clips — enough variety to keep their website and social channels active for months, without needing to book another shoot every time they wanted something new to post
The Approach
I built the day around a lifestyle shoot with my Fill ‘ya Socials, social media video package.
It entailed following a family enjoying everything Aldeburgh has to offer — the beach, the independent High Street, the local Thai restaurant, and that unmistakable Suffolk coastal atmosphere.
Alongside this, we filmed inside and around one of Suffolk Cottages’ holiday homes, capturing the comfort and character that makes it stand out.
Filming combined:
- Cinematic ground filming — following the family through the town and along the coast
- Drone footage — establishing shots of Aldeburgh and the surrounding coastline
- Open Gate filming — capturing every shot ready for multiple aspect ratios from the outset
Because every shot was filmed with Landscape, Portrait and Square delivery in mind, nothing needed to be re-filmed or re-cropped to work across different platforms.
