COP26 Case Study
This COP26 project is one example of how strategic video content helps organisations communicate complex ideas in a simple and engaging way.
I was proudly awarded the contract to develop and create video content, and be the King’s Lynn Videographer, for a total of six case studies to be showcased at the summit in Glasgow.
One of the studies was in my home county of Norfolk. In the town of Kings Lynn.
The local council was installing heat pump technology for the local leisure centre. The contractor is drilling, 200m into the ground to extract the heat.
Greenyard Case Study: Peas
Over the past few years, I’ve created a number of video films to help communicate messages to their team members, senior management teams and with the public.
One of the videos, ‘Field to Pack’ can be watched below. We follow the journey of the humble frozen pea.
Filming in King’s Lynn
I started filming, both land camera, and aerial drone, in a famers field not far from King’s Lynn. The farmer’s farming machinery was gathering the peas in an intriguing and meticulous way. Removing the delicate peas form their pods. Making sure not to damage them.
The whole process is a race against time, to get the fresh peas from the field, frozen and packed within a matter of hours. And that included transporting them – via road – to the Greenyard factory!=
Norfolk based, King’s Lynn Videographer
All of my videography skills were used in the creation of these films.
From pre-production, video production which included all my services; land filming, aerial drone filming, plus producing on location the interviews of key personnel to give a strong narrative for each video.
One Shoot, Endless Content.
I delivered multiple social media edits – landscape, portrait and square formats. All subtitled, along with photographs to give a great ROI.
Using a brief storyline and quick edits, I had to focus my video editing abilities with the project’s main aims.
